A Kelowna Capital News opinion column ("The Turner Files") reported that the BRACE for Change website text and videos were flagged by an AI-detection tool as machine-generated. The column characterized the slate's messaging as relying on "common sense" and single-issue (crime) framing. This was a slate-level observation in an opinion column, not a finding specific to Morales.

In an undated ForChange Kelowna candidate questionnaire, Morales added individual positions, distinct from his slate's shared platform. He framed his approach as pragmatic, project-management-style leadership with long-term risk assessment, arguing infrastructure should have been strengthened before rapid growth. On homelessness and crime, he categorized the unhoused into three groups — those pushed out by housing unaffordability, those facing addiction, and those with mental-health needs — and proposed matching responses such as low-cost modular housing or assessment-treatment-recovery programs, plus pilot programs, with the City advocating concrete solutions to the Province. He also cited census figures that immigrants made up more than 15% of Kelowna's population in 2021 and could approach 20% by 2026, and proposed partnerships to help newcomers integrate and support immigrant entrepreneurs. He proposed more affordable after-school sports and arts programs and measures to help seniors stay independent.

At the second Castanet election forum (Revelry Kelowna, September 24, 2026), Morales recounted arriving from Monterrey, Mexico, leaving home at 17, and, after his father died that same year, his mother's instruction to "stay the course" through university — perseverance he said he would bring to council. He said his Glenmore home was broken into at 1 a.m. by a person the responding RCMP officers told him would simply be released. He described owning two short-term rentals and said visitors tell him Kelowna is "getting dirtier," and he called for a "one-stop shop" to coordinate the liquor board, Interior Health, and the other agencies businesses must navigate. He gave the current council a "B-minus," saying he has not seen how the city measures success.
