Who can vote
- You are a Canadian citizen.
- You are 18 or older on general voting day (October 17, 2026).
- You have been a resident of British Columbia for at least 6 months, and a resident of the City of Kelowna for at least 30 days, immediately before registering to vote.

Non-resident property electors (people who own property in Kelowna but live elsewhere in BC) may also qualify — the rules are set out on the City's election pages.
Registering to vote
You can register at the time you vote — bring one document proving identity and residency (e.g. a BC driver's licence), or two documents as set out by the City. There is no pre-registration requirement for Kelowna municipal elections.
